Welcome to the website for The Villages at Shawnee Bend POA. This website is divided into two main areas. There is an informational area for the Public and those interested in buying property and builders who may be interested in finding out about The Villages. The other area can only be accessed by Villages Property Owners.
The Villages is nestled in the second largest man-made lake in the United States, at The Lake Of The Ozarks. The Villages of Shawnee Bend is located in the center of the state between Missouri’s two largest metropolitan areas, St Louis and Kansas City and about 35 miles south of the State Capital in Jefferson City. With some of the most amazing views anywhere, The Villages At Shawnee Bend features approximately 10 miles of south-facing pristine shoreline. With warm humid summers, The Lake becomes a virtual playground for families and individuals. Time at the lake is filled with outdoor activities such as boating, jet skis, swimming, kayaking, fishing, and hiking, to name a few. The Lake offers some of the best golf courses around, hundreds of restaurants, shopping, movie theaters, an amphitheater, ballparks and many other venues. The Villages at Shawnee Bend is between the 17 – 27 mile marker, which some call the “quiet side of the lake.” Sunrise Beach is West of the Community Bridge.
The Villages has been the premier residential development at the Lake for more than 20 years. Featuring unusually large lots, the Villages sets a high bar for building standards, and a strong and active Property Owners Association, The Villages at Shawnee Bend is where Property Owners find a great place to own property and enjoy their time at the Lake with friends and family. The Villages has a community pool, lighted tennis courts with pickleball, a playground, and a community park. Most waterfront lots are allowed boat docks and a Marina is contiguous to the Villages for those property owners that need a slip or a place for their jet skis.

In addition, it is recommended that potential property owners check with Ameren to see what the docking envelope, restrictions, and requirements the property would be subject to.
